Maria Åkerberg Jojoba oil

The golden-yellow oil is produced through gentle cold-pressing of seeds from the Jojoba bush. The oil is very stable, no preservatives needed. The unique composition of fatty acids allows the oil to absorb quickly into the skin. Jojoba oil locks in the skin's moisture, strengthens the skin's protective barrier, and makes it silky smooth.

Usage tips:

• As a cleansing oil together with a cleansing sponge or towel. Also works for oily skin with the principle "oil dissolves oil".
• As a facial massage oil or oil serum; perfect before massaging with any of CHIA's massage tools like cups or Gua Sha.
• Waterproof hand cream: Protects your hands for several hours against water's drying effect. Face oil for all skin types: The oil is used alone or under any of the creams in our range. The oil has a thin consistency and absorbs quickly into the skin without being sticky.
• Dry skin: If you have very dry skin, you may experience that the skin drinks what it needs from the oil. It's important to give the skin as much as it wants. The skin gets the opportunity to rebuild and can more easily retain moisture. The oil becomes very economical once the skin has reached balance. Jojoba oil improves the skin's barrier and resilience.
• For wounded skin, use Aloe Vera. Oil can prevent the skin from forming a scab.
• Makeup remover: Jojoba oil on a damp cotton pad easily removes all makeup, even waterproof mascara.
• Problem skin: Jojoba oil works balancing on all skin types.
• Baby care: Add a few drops to the bathwater.
• Sore nipples: During breastfeeding, Jojoba oil is recommended. Since it's tasteless and completely safe to ingest (unlike products containing mineral oil), it doesn't need to be washed off before breastfeeding.
• Dry hair and dry scalp: Massage in the oil and let it work as a treatment for about 10-15 minutes before washing hair with suitable shampoo.
• Shaving: Use the oil after shaving.
